Robin and Marion welcome you to Meadow View, our family home, just 3 miles from the shores of beautiful Ullswater, and perfectly situated for exploring the Lake District, Scottish Borders and Eden Valley. Explore by car, on foot, by bike or by boat. We are conveniently located on the bus route to the market town of Penrith, Pooley Bridge and Patterdale. Whether for business or pleasure, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere that Meadow View provides.

Meadow View has been newly decorated and offers an open modern space. Sleep well in our sumptuously comfortable beds, and then enjoy a splendid Cumbrian Breakfast (with produce sourced locally) in our comfortable dining room. We cater for a variety of tastes and diets. Please advise us of any particular dietary requirements in advance of your arrival. Off road parking is available. The Queens Head, an 18th century coaching house, is only 100 steps away and ideal for winding down over one of Jimmy’s award winning pies dedicated to the local area, washed down by a pint of hand pulled ale.

We are just a short drive from Pooley Bridge where the Ullswater Steamer docks, and can ferry you to Patterdale, Glenridding and Howtown and some of the most beautiful walks in Lakeland.

We are active members of Ullswater Yacht Club and offer a discount to any Ullswater Yacht Club related bookings.
